Happy Birthday Flora!

Today is not a common business day here at QRMS. Today, in this singular page in the book of our lives, we find ourselves deep within our heart space, reminiscing, rejoicing and celebrating an exceptional human being. She is our beautiful boss, our fierce leader, our loving mother, founder and CEO of this successful enterprise and the irreplaceable figure in our lives: Flora Elizabeth Radcliffe-Hooks.

For anyone paying attention, Flora´s life has been a constant expression of one word, perhaps the most important word, intrinsic to life itself: birth.

She has given birth to the most admirable of creations, be it in the form of different versions of herself, projects, dreams and most importantly: lovely humans. Humans who have in turn created more precious humans, dreams and projects that are rippling through this great big world and will continue to for generations to come.

When we asked to share either a favorite memory, or how Flora impacted their lives, this is what some of her family, employees and friends had to say:

AJ:

Needless to say that my mom has impacted my life for the simple fact I wouldn't be here without her lol but aside from that she's honestly been the most supportive person in my life. I'll never forget that when I decided to pursue my art, she was the first one to truly encourage me and support my decision. She was never one to force her children to fit into her idea of them, she actually wanted us to find our own way and create lives that we could be happy with. I'm absolutely fortunate to have that as I know many people aren't as lucky. The reason I believe in myself so much is because she believed in me from the very start.

Jermaine:

1. She birthed a great child...Jermaine lol. Also strength and courage has always been an inspiration.
2. My favorite memory is her taking me to work with her when I was small to Shirley's donuts. I got all the free donuts I could eat. Now it's great to see her spending time with my kids and laugh at how lenient she is with them and how she spoils them.

Alli:

Flora has impacted my life tremendously by getting me out my comfort zone and having me travel more. My favorite memory with flora is going to Florida and just enjoying everyone's company!

Thank you Flora for being such a precious part of our worlds, and teaching us to break through our limitations and reach for the stars!
